With Prime Video Watch Party, you can chat with up to 100 friends in the same country while you watch movies and TV shows online together. For content included with your Amazon Prime membership or Prime Video subscription, you need an Amazon Prime membership or Prime Video subscription to start or join a Watch Party. You can also choose to use Watch Party to watch content available to buy or rent with friends and family. Every participant will need to buy or rent the video, similar to watching it on your own.
Note: Watch Parties can be watched through the Prime Video app on supported Fire TV devices in France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, India, and Canada, the Prime Video app for Android mobile phones, Android tablets or Fire tablets, iPhones and iPads, and on desktop browsers, except Internet Explorer and Apple's Safari. Other devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, and connected media players are currently not supported for the playback of Watch Parties.
Browse titles as you would when watching on your own. Titles included with Amazon Prime or Prime Video are only available to Amazon Prime members or Prime Video subscribers. Non-Prime members and Prime Video subscribers will be prompted to sign up (or take a free trial, if eligible) in order to access titles Included with Prime or Prime Video. Customers who wish to host or participate in a Prime Watch Party for titles available for rental or purchase, need only rent or buy that title in order to participate. Live content, and Prime Video Channels content aren't currently available for Watch Parties.
